EuroCC-Latvia in collaboration with CoE RAISE and RTU HPC Center offers a training webinar that will cover theoretical and practical principles of creating Neural networks in MATLAB, running the training process on supercomputers including running on GPU, and running on parallel processors. Also, some questions related to sending MATLAB tasks to HPC will be covered at the beginning of the seminar. Some general information about the ability to run MATLAB functions on a multiprocessor environment will be provided. During the webinar, participants will learn to send computational MATLAB tasks to HPC; create Neural networks with MATLAB, use neural networks to classify images, and train Neural network on GPU. Instructor Dr.Sc.Ing. Māris Tērauds.

The webinar will take place on October 16, 2023 14:00-16:00 EET via Zoom. After filling in the registration form, you will receive a Zoom link in your e-mail. More information is available here.

The current webinar is a prerequisite for attending a more advanced workshop “MATLAB for HPC at Jülich Supercomputing Center (JSC)” on November 6. “This is a hybrid workshop on parallel computing using large compute resources. The workshop includes hands-on exercises where you learn how to effectively use MATLAB and MATLAB Parallel Server to speed up your computations on the cluster at the Jülich Supercomputing Center.” More information is available on the JSC website.
