NCC Poland
The National HPC Competence Centre is a centre of expertise and a point of contact that enables users to benefit from national and European computing infrastructure. We offer advice to our customers in all areas of HPC+ (HPC, HPDA, AI, Big Data, NLP, Data Analytics). As part of our services, we provide access to computing resources, as well as technological support and training in high-performance computing, big data collection, storage, processing and analysis as well as artificial intelligence. Our offer is addressed to business entities (especially SMEs), universities, research institutes and public administration.
The National HPC Competence Centre in Poland is realised by the PL-Grid consortium which comprises the following Polish computing centres:
- Academic Computer Centre CYFRONET AGH
- Centre of Informatics – Tricity Academic Supercomputer & Network
- Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling UW
- National Centre for Nuclear Research
- Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center
- Wrocław Centre for Networking and Supercomputing
So far the HPC resources in Poland have been used mainly by scientists doing research in chemistry, physics, mechanics, earth sciences, medicine or astronomy, among others.
As part of the EuroCC National Competence Centre, the computation centres want to encourage Polish entrepreneurs, especially from the SME sector, to use their services.
We invite scientists, entrepreneurs and the public sector to cooperate. We encourage the use of infrastructure, computing resources and expert knowledge primarily from Polish, but also European supercomputing centres.
More information about the Polish National HPC Competence Centre and its services and trainings can be found on cc.eurohpc.pl and in social media: Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter.
