Preparing codes for LUMI: converting CUDA applications to HIP – In the first blog post “May we introduce: LUMI” we discussed the LUMI high-level specifications, the software stack and what programming models could be used to get your GPU accelerated codes running on the system. In this article we are going do a deeper dive on HIP which is AMDs direct answer to CUDA.
