SYSTEMS

Introducing Komondor: Named after a breed of Hungarian livestock guardian dog, the next Hungarian supercomputer is expected to be operational in early 2022, with an estimated peak performance of min. 5 Petaflops. Besides an at least 0,7 PF CPU only capacity, 2/3 of the capacity will be provided by GPU partition with min. 2 GPUs/node. Additionally, it will have dedicated partitions for AI and Big Data. A storage system of 10 PB will also be part of this infrastructure.
